Wooooo!!! What can i even say?

The Two Towers is absolutely Fandabidozi!!!

Being a bit of a LOTR fanatic, i suppose i'm not going to be a very objective film reviewer-- but! even alvin, who was bored to tears by FOTR thought the 2nd installment was muchos better than the 1st one. (although he did fall asleep halfway thru the movie today. Pfoowaaaagrrh thats' nothing short of sacrilegious, man.)

On a side note-- finally hauled my arse down to the bukit batok driving center with alvin at the unearthly hour of 8am to register meself for driving lessons. Cant bloody believe how friggin' mind-numbingly pathetic the ppl who work there can be. Do they actually think anyone below the age of 20 is a dimwit?! And what's with the craaaaap english!?! Had to suffer thru the entire 'a's with a CPE whose english that made my ears hurt, i swear. And now, am cursed to suffer thru another few months with even MORE linguistically-challenged people. But the one that annoyed me the most was the stupid git who conducted the compulsary briefing.

Excerpts from the compulsary briefing:
Woman- Click on the website to register. *long pause where alvin n myself r staring at her stonily due to extreme boredom n sleepiness* R-E-G-I-S-T-E-R, register, you know?
Alvin- Huh?! *then starts to laugh in disbelief*
Me- Erm, YARH. *dark look at woman* We KNOW.
yada yada yada
Woman- Must take in-how test before you can proceed on to [.... etc etc]
Me- *what the bleedin' is in-how?* And then the sudden realisation-- she means in-house. CHUH. Repeats this phrase many many times during course of briefing. Excruciating, i tell you.
Woman- Must book your taaaaam slot in advance [blah blah yada yada...] Again, she repeats this heinous pronunciation error over n over again.
Me- *cringes* *feels like screaming out the correct pronunciation of time to her but wisely keeps mouth shut*

Yes. Well. It was awful. Feel the pain of spending so much money on something i feel so... well. lets just say i'm not v impressed with the driving center ya.

The new template's UP!!! Thanks a million (and then some) to my fanta-bu-lous rawk star miewlee and her super (x 100) friend [hoho think maritess vs the superfriends] josie! I owe ya'll a treat. Haha how bout trying my new lasagne?! hurhur.

The only downside? I can't see the lovely new template cuz of the problem that's been plaguing my internet connection. Bleauuuugh, man. *mutter*

{Betty Crocker Status-- Nearly THERE!}

Have realised am not as bad a cook as i make myself out to be. Ha. Had a sleepover at aaron's house last night along with alvin and may, and we cooked dinner which consisted of the yummmmmiest lasagne (i've ever helped cook) and walnut brownies with haagen daz ice cream. Lovely, i tell you, absolutely, finger lickin' goood. If anyone wants the tres fantastique recipe feel free to drop me an sms or whatever. Ho.

After which, it was footie mania for the footie fanatics-- we watched all the EPL/Seria A matches (and then some!) showing on cable till 3am before hitting the sheets. Was woken up at abt 5.15am by aaron's infernal alarm clock (the room i slept in was next to his, alvin slept in another room down the hallway), signalling the departure of our smashing host as he was due at the airport by 6am to catch his flight to japan! hope he has a great time skiing there.

All in all, had a wonderful day. These guys never fail to crack me up, man. Plus met up with me dearest chap earlier on in the day. That's gotta be the highlight of my year-- the other highlight being the end of the 'a's. Hur. But i'll spare ya'll the mushy details, because i find it incredibly nauseating to read pages and pages of couple-esque escapades online.
